It is easy to trust your perception of the world to provide the answers as to how it all keeps ticking by. Growing up with a learning disability I was always aware I was processing and experiencing things alternatively to my peers. Developing through my adolescent years it became apparent to me that my reality wasn't the only reality people were experiencing.
The core ideas for these works are based on personal experiences of living with dyslexia and I have aimed to showcase how these situations can drastically alter one's experience of life. Dyslexia impacts one's perception of life, how we learn, speak, and interact with others.
These pieces express the loss of ability to communicate through language and aim to shift people's perspective and to allow them to think about the possibilities of an endless amount of true realities.
